Buhari Sacks JAMB Registrar & 16 Other Heads Agencies

President Muhammadu Buhari is reported to have sacked the heads of 17 agencies within the education sector.

According to report, the Presidency on Monday announced that 17 new chief executives are set to be hired under the aegis of the Ministry of Education.

In a statement released by Deputy Director of the Ministry, Benjamin Goong, the new executives have been reported to be due to attend a meeting with Education Minister Adamu Adamu on Tuesday, August 2.
Only four heads are set to be retained by the Ministry, namely Samaila Junaidu of Nigeria Educational Research & Development Council; Raaufu Adebisi of Nigerian French Language Village Badagry; Mas’ud A. Kazaure of National Board For Technical Education; and Muhammad Mu’az of National Arabic Language Village, Maiduguri, Borno state.
