Crystal Palace have announced the signing of striker Loic Remy on a season-long loan from Chelsea. According to Skysports.

Remy played under Palace boss Alan Pardew when the pair were at Newcastle in the 2013/14 season, and he scored 14 goals in 27 games.

Remy, who has won 31 France caps, arrived in English football with QPR in January 2013 after playing for Lyon, Lens, Nice and Marseille in his homeland.

After his successful loan at Newcastle, he was signed by Chelsea in September 2014 and he scored 12 goals in 47 games for the Blues.

Remy, 29, told Palace website: “This is a very good chance for me and a big opportunity. It was very important to know Alan Pardew as he is a very good manager and I am happy to be here.”
